We've improved how events work, making them far easier to implement.

Events allow you to log interactions independently of page load. Events like playing videos, newsletter signups and download counts. There are two ways to trigger events.

  1. Using JavaScript:
cabin.event('My Event Name')
  1. Using HTML data attributes
<button data-cabin-event="My Event Name">Submit</button>

Data attributes can be applied to any html element and they will fire on click.

Cabin will start logging events in your dashboard. Find out more in the FAQ.
